The new user interface of Windows 8 is designed for touch control. We chose a combination of useful gestures that will save many clicks or search various offers.

Touch :






  1. Tapping - starts the application

  2. Tap and hold - calls up the context menu

  3. Pull the right edge to the left - to display the main sidebar

  4. Drag from the left edge to the right - will switch to another running program

  5. Drag from the left edge to the right and back - a list of running applications

  6. Drag from the left edge to the right and hold - can accommodate multiple applications on one screen in several proportions

  7. Pull from the bottom or top edge - displayed (if available) the application menu

  8. Rub the tile from top to bottom - will be marking tiles

  9. Hold tile - tile can move to a new location

Mouse




Snap - Grab a window and move to the left or right side of the surface, it will align the window along the left or right edge of the desktop. Drag on the top surface will be maximized. To expand a window cling vertically, place the mouse cursor on the top edge of the window (the cursor appears with the arrow up and down) and drag the top edge of the window to the top edge of the area (you will achieve the same effect by double-clicking).

Shaking - Left-click and hold the title bar and shake it (drag here and there). Other open windows (except this one) are minimized.

Original window size - grab a header maximized window and you drag it, it returns to its original size before maximizing (substitutes middle button on the window).

  20. Windows + Page Up - moves the tile interface on the monitor on the left

  21. Windows + Page Down - moves the tile interface on the right monitor

  22. Windows + Shift + dot - split screen into two parts and moves the current application to the left

  23. Windows + dot - split screen into two parts and moves the current application traffic

  24. Windows + comma - previews the classic desktop

  25. Windows + T - above the main panel in the classic style to open a preview window

  26. Esc - stop or end the current job

  27. Ctrl + plus or minus Ctrl + or Ctrl + mouse scroll wheel - zoom in or out on the tile interface

  28. Windows + ESC - exits the zoom

  29. Windows + D - switch to the classic desktop

  30. Windows + Print Screen - create a screenshot (picture the current screen) and stores the library files in PNG

  31. Windows + X - Opens the system menu functions

  32. Windows + U - Opens the indisposed for users

  33. Windows + Enter - open the Windows Narrator

  34. Windows + V - switching between notifications have

  35. Windows + 1-9 - starts the application (by number in order) stuck in the classic interface in the taskbar.
